Why avoid page builders like Elementor or Divi?
They make the first build quick but leave a heavy, plugin-dependent site that is slower and harder to maintain. A clean custom theme gives the same editing freedom for everyday content without the weight.
Can you fix or speed up my existing WordPress site?
Yes — removing unused plugins, replacing heavy ones, optimising images and caching often makes a large difference. A full rebuild is only suggested when fixing costs more than rebuilding.
Is WordPress secure?
WordPress core is well maintained; most hacks come through outdated or poorly written plugins and weak logins. Fewer plugins, hardened logins, regular updates and off-site backups remove most of the risk.
Is WordPress the right choice for my site?
If your team will publish regularly — news, blog posts, courses, listings — usually yes. If the site rarely changes, a static build is faster and cheaper to run, and I will say so.
